Sterling Dry Creek Bed

This client has a swale in their yard ending in the neighborhood sewer drain which was causing major erosion problems during heavy rain events. We replaced the swale with a dry creek bed and used piping to route the rainfall off the house, and from the neighbors, directly into the drain. The dry creek bed handles any additional overflow and provides a backdrop for a native plant garden.
