Incorporate Nature
Into Your Living Space

Winter Aconite (Eranthus hyemalis) is one of the earliest blooming spring perennials.  It is in the buttercup family and has small yellow flowers.  It is a very low-growing plant that does well in rock gardens, flower beds, and woodland gardens.  They are great for naturalizing but can spread easily and become somewhat invasive.

Backyard River

This client had a river of water flowing every time there was a hard rainfall in this somewhat shaded yard. The grass didn't grow, and the earth was being eroded away. The design plan included a dry creek bed to help manage the flow during rain events as well as piping from all the downspouts to direct the water into the sewer opening. Native plants and a steppingstone path completed the look for the yard.
